Stack's House February Newsletter One of the highs of his season so far came on January 13th when he hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to beat the Clippers on the road in Los Angeles, 95-94. Stack finished that game with 13 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound and 1 steal off the bench! Stack’s season has been dramatically plagued by injuries. He is currently suffering from a strained hamstring and has only played in 39 games so far because of his injuries. His numbers are a little down from his normal averages because of this. He is currently averaging 9.8 points per game, 2.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Despite Stackhouse’s injuries and lower numbers than usual his Mavericks are having another stellar season. They are currently tied for 2nd place in the Southwest division and in 6th place overall in the West but only 2 games behind Conference leader New Orleans. Recently Stackhouse was involved in some trade drama with the New Jersey Nets. He was in a trade that would send himself to the Nets and Jason Kidd to the Mavericks. Stackhouse made it open to the public that he was intending on sitting out the 30 day waiting period and resigning with the Mavs which created some controversy around the league. Because of this the trade still went through but without Stackhouse involved. He is very happy to remain a Maverick and have the opportunity to play with Jason Kidd. Stack’s 6th Annual African-American History Challenge is going on. Click HERE for more information on how you can participate and possibly win some Stack-autographed items! We would like to thank you for all your support and hope for your continued support the rest of the year!! Stack’s House |
