Stack's 2008 African American History Trivia Challenge

Stack sponsored his sixth annual African American History Trivia Challenge in honor of Black History month. The challenge began on Sunday, February 3rd and ended on Sunday, March 2nd.

Each Sunday evening in February, five Black History trivia questions were posted on Stack’s website.  Fans were able to submit answers to the trivia questions all day from the time they were posted until each Sunday before noon. Each person who answered all the questions correctly was entered into a drawing to receive an item autographed by Stackhouse. The winners were: Sarah Campbell (twice), Ronnie Seay and Michelle Trevino!

Stackhouse began the trivia contest six years ago to educate people about black history. He was an African American Studies major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Stackhouse was the first Tar Heel basketball player to leave UNC after completing only his sophomore year to join the NBA.  He continued his studies toward his bachelor’s degree through summer classes and graduated on December 18, 1999, during his fifth season in the NBA.

Stack's next online contest will be his annual Mother’s Day poetry contest in May.
