It was another weekend sweep for Jerry Stackhouse and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks took down the New York Knicks 114-107 at the Garden, followed by a 93-81 victory over another Eastern Conference rival, the Indiana Pacers.

Stack matched his season-high 14 points Saturday night, connecting on 5-of-11 from the field and 1-of-2 from the charity stripe.

No. 24 had one of his best all-around games of the season against the Pacers. Said Alex Boeder of Brew Hoop:

“One of the best nights yet for Stack, who hit the boards and hit from outside…The rest of the bench was largely ineffective, as Skiles rode the starters for a vast majority of the night, but Stack really excelled in the sixth man role, notching 14 points and six rebounds in 29 minutes.”

FROM DOWNTOWN

A prolific three-point shooter for his entire career, Stack had his best night’s shooting beyond the arc this season, connecting 3-of-6. Said Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

“Stackhouse was 5 for 11 from the field and 3 of 6 from three-point distance in the Bucks’ 93-81 home-court victory over Indiana on Saturday night. Playing in his 10th game since joining the team, the 35-year-old wing played a season-high 30 minutes and matched his scoring high with 14 points.”

NEXT UP

The Bucks are 7-3 since Stack’s arrival; they’ll look to continue their success when they welcome the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night. Tip-off is at 7:00 CST and you can catch all the action on FSN Wisconsin.
